In a 4 quart saucepan, bring the water to a boil, add fettuccine, set timer for 10 minutes. In a frying pan add the oil and chicken, cook over medium heat until chicken is done, crumble the dried basil over chicken and oil in pan, stir and leave it for now. When the fettuccine is done, drain it then pour it back into the sauce pan. Add the pesto to the fettuccine, stir, add the chicken and oil to the fettuccine, stir. Salt to taste and serve..
