Tortilla - Whole Wheat

This recipe is easily doubled.



  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 TB olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 cups of hard white or red whole wheat flour


Combine ingredients in a mixer and mix well. The dough should be tacky to the touch. Dived dough into portions. Shape each portion into a flat ball. Roll each portion with a rolling pin, or press with a manual press, and cook on an ungreased skillet; or press and cook on an electric tortilla maker as directed.
Cook each side for about 1 minute. Fill with your favorite fillings.
