Recipe Submitted by mamamia ..|.. Category: Crockpot & Slow Cooker

I had this sandwich this week for lunch at a friends house and it was very tasty

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs. pork boneless shoulder roast, trimmed of fat
  • 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1 cup bbq sauce
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki marinade
  • 4 cups coleslaw mix (from 1 lb bag)
  • 3 medium green onions, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 3 Tbsp. water
  • 1 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 13 sandwich buns, split

Directions

Cut pork into 3" pieces; sprinkle with 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt. Place pork in 5-6 qt slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours. Remove pork from cooker, using slotted spoon; place on cutting board. Discard liquid in cooker. Shred pork, using 2 forks. Return to cooker. Mix bbq sauce and teriyaki marinade in small bowl; pour over pork and mix well. Increase heat to high. Cover and cook for 30-40 minutes or until hot. Mix remaining ingredients except buns in a large bowl. To serve, spoon 1/3 cup pork mixture into each bun and top with 1/4 cup coleslaw. Pork mixture will hold on low setting up to 2 hours, stir occasionally.
