Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cornstarch
  • 8 ounces citric acid
  • 16 ounces baking soda
  • 8 to 10 drops fragrant oil of your choice
  • Food coloring of choice (complement fragrance of bath salts)
  • 1 tall, clear ice cream sundae glass (found at many dollar stores)
  • 1 white net scrubby (also found at dollar stores)
  • 1 large red bead or bath bead pearl
  • double-sided tape*
  • * The double-sided tape is to use sparingly to hold the "cherry" and "whipped cream" in place temporarily for presentation.

Directions

Combine all ingredients thoroughly and dry completely by laying it in a glass baking dish in the oven (do not turn oven on).
Transfer enough to fill an ice cream sundae dish and store the remainder in an airtight container until ready to use again.
Top the "sundae" with "whipped cream" ~ the net scrubby.
Add a large red bead as a "cherry".
Insert a long-handled spoon and there you have it!
Ice cream in the bathroom!
*Attach instruction card to glass.
