Fettuccine Alfredo with Peas

Ingredients

• 1 (16-oz.) pkg. fettuccine
• 1 stick margarine
• 1/2 c. heavy whipping cream
• 1 (15-oz.) can sweet peas, well drained
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• pepper to taste
• 1/2 tsp. dried parsley, crushed
• 3/4 c. grated parmesan cheese

Directions

Cook fettuccine following directions on package. While the fettuccine is cooking, prepare the Alfredo sauce. In a medium sauce pan heat margarine and whipping cream over medium low heat, stirring constantly. After margarine is melted add the peas, salt, pepper, and parsley. Stir and heat thoroughly. Add the parmesan cheese. Stir well. Drain the fettuccine. Pour the Alfredo sauce over the fettuccine and toss to coat. Serve immediately.
