Nancy's Macaroni And Cheese

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups Elbow Macaroni
  • 3 Tbsp Butter
  • 3 Tbsp Flour
  • 2 1/2 cups Milk
  • 4 cups shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/2 Tsp Pepper
  • 1 Tsp Salt

Directions

Cook Macaroni, drain, pour into large baking dish and set aside.
Warm milk, add melted butter. Stir in flour dissolving very well. Cook for 4 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add salt, pepper and cheese. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Pour mixture into Macaroni and stir in well.
Sprinkle remaining 2 cups of cheese on top. (Brush with melted butter..optional). Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes or until cheese topping has melted.
