  • 2 1/2 lbs. ground beef
  • 2 pkts. mild chili seasoning
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 (29-oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (15-oz.) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (16-oz.) can pinto beans, drained
  • shredded cheese, if desired
  • crackers, if desired
  • 1 pkg. hot dogs, cooked, if desired
  • 1 box macaroni and cheese, prepared


Brown ground beef until thoroughly cooked, drain off grease. Add chili seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, chili powder, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and pinto beans. Bring to a boil stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low, simmer for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve with shredded cheese and crackers. For Chili Dogs: place cooked hot dog in a bun, top with chili and shredded cheese. For Chili Mac: Stir desired amount of chili into prepared macaroni and cheese.
